Democrat Chuck Todd: Obama “on precipice of doing Jimmy Carter-like damage” to Democrats

10 Sep

You know it’s bad when fellow Democrats are saying this about Obama.

Minorities are obese because of….racism

10 Sep

According to a new study minorities are obese because of racism.

“‘When you are exposed to negative stereotypes, you may gravitate more toward unhealthy foods as opposed to healthy foods,’ said Luis Rivera, the experimental social psychologist who conducted the study.'”

You know, I am going to have to agree with this study.  The fact that there are no obese white people is proof that this study is accurate.  If any obese white people start popping up, I guess another study will be necessary.

Female Latino Republican Governor “does not have a Latino heart” says…white male Democrat

9 Sep

I think that we can all agree that if there is anyone who knows who does, or doesn’t, have a “Latino heart” it’s white dudes.  Am I right?

Gary King is a white man and is the Democratic nominee for Governor of New Mexico.  He is challenging incumbent Republican Governor Susana Martinez, who is Hispanic. Recently at a fundraiser King recalled the words of a previous speaker, Hispanic labor activist Dolores Huerta, and told his guests that Martinez “does not have a Latino heart.”

“She said you can’t go out there and just vote for somebody for governor because they have a Latino surname,” King says. “She said you have to look at them and find out if they have a Latino heart. And we know that Susana Martinez does not have a Latino heart.”

I’ll be on the look out for the outrage from Hispanic groups demanding an apology from Gary King.

Louisiana Democrat Party Chair: opposition to Obamacare due to racism

31 May

Playing the one card that she and her fellow Democrats have in their deck, LA Democrat Party Chair Karen Carter Peterson took to the floor and claimed that those who oppose Obamacare do so because they are racists.

It’s people like Karen Carter Peterson, and other Democrats, that make actual instances of racism be taken less seriously.  Also, I wonder what her explanation is for why white Republicans oppose white Democrats like Harry Reid, Nancy Pelosi and Hillary Clinton?

People actually sign a big “thank you” card to the IRS for targeting Tea Party and Conservative groups

30 May

Video here of people willing to sign a big thank you card to the IRS for targeting the Tea Party, and Conservative and religious groups:

More from The Blaze:

While most people, both on the left and right, are understandably outraged by the abuse of power, others are not. In fact, some people — hopefully the small minority — are actually thankful.

Conservative pundit Caleb Bonham traveled to Colorado University in Boulder and asked several people to sign a “thank you” card to thank the IRS for unfairly targeting conservative groups. The giant poster board read: “Thank You IRS! Tea Party Deserves It!”

One guy said the whole thing was just a “fake scandal” and it makes sense that the IRS would specifically target conservative tax-exempt organizations.

Amazing.

Liberal columnist: ‘Obama administration mistakes journalism for espionage’

21 May

Liberal columnist Eugene Robinson has a piece from yesterday that is critical of the Obama administration:

The Obama administration has no business rummaging through journalists’ phone records, perusing their e-mails and tracking their movements in an attempt to keep them from gathering news. This heavy-handed business isn’t chilling, it’s just plain cold.

It also may well be unconstitutional. In my reading, the First Amendment prohibition against “abridging the freedom . . . of the press” should rule out secretly obtaining two months’ worth of the personal and professional phone records of Associated Press reporters and editors, including calls to and from the main AP phone number at the House press gallery in the Capitol. Yet this is what the Justice Department did.

The unwarranted snooping, which was revealed last week, would be troubling enough if it were an isolated incident. But it is part of a pattern that threatens to redefine investigative reporting as criminal behavior.

Labor unions turning on Obamacare

21 May

A piece from The Hill today says labor unions are not too happy with Obamacare.  No word yet on whether these unions are racist…stay tuned.

Months after the president’s reelection, a variety of unions are publicly balking at how the administration plans to implement the landmark law. They warn that unless there are changes, the results could be catastrophic.

The United Food and Commercial Workers International Union (UFCW) — a 1.3 million-member labor group that twice endorsed Obama for president – is very worried about how the reform law will affect its members’ healthcare plans.

Last month, the president of the United Union of Roofers, Waterproofers and Allied Workers released a statement calling “for repeal or complete reform of the Affordable Care Act”…

…In a new op-ed published in The Hill, UFCW President Joe Hansen homed in on the president’s speech at the 2009 AFL-CIO convention. Obama at the time said union members could keep their insurance under the law, but Hansen writes “that the president’s statement to labor in 2009 is simply not true for millions of workers.”

Democrat Senator goes on anti-GOP rant over OK tornadoes and global warming

20 May

From The Daily Caller

While many Americans were tuned into news coverage of the massive damage from tornadoes ravaging the state of Oklahoma, Rhode Island Democratic Sen. Sheldon Whitehouse took to the Senate floor to rail against his Republican colleagues for denying the theory of anthropogenic global warming.

Whitehouse spent 15 minutes chastising GOP senators and justified his remarks by alluding to states that seek federal assistance in the wake of natural disasters.

“So, you may have a question for me,” Whitehouse said. “Why do you care? Why do you, Sheldon Whitehouse, Democrat of Rhode Island, care if we Republicans run off the climate cliff like a bunch of proverbial lemmings and disgrace ourselves? I’ll tell you why. We’re stuck in this together. We are stuck in this together. When cyclones tear up Oklahoma and hurricanes swamp Alabama and wildfires scorch Texas, you come to us, the rest of the country, for billions of dollars to recover. And the damage that your polluters and deniers are doing doesn’t just hit Oklahoma and Alabama and Texas. It hits Rhode Island with floods and storms. It hits Oregon with acidified seas, it hits Montana with dying forests. So, like it or not, we’re in this together.”

Every. Single. Thing. is political to these people.  Everything.
