Chris Matthews: interest in Obama’s multiple scandals due to racism and white supremacy

15 May

Well, I have not heard this excuse in at least ten minutes.  Racism…that has to be it…why else would anyone care that the President, his administration and the IRS are involved in multiple scandals, involving intimidation, harassment, cover-ups, and deaths?  Has to be because of racism.

The problem is there are people in this country, maybe ten percent, I don’t know what the number, maybe twenty percent on a bad day, who want this president to have an asterisk next to his name in the history books, that he really wasn’t president. … They want to be able to say, well, he didn’t really have that batting average; he really wasn’t the first African American president; he really didn’t do health care; he really didn’t kill bin Laden. There’s an asterisk, and they have been fighting for that, the people like Donald Trump, since day one. They can’t stand the idea that he’s president, and a piece of it is racism. Not that somebody in one racial group doesn’t like somebody in another racial group, so what? It’s the sense that the white race must rule, that’s what racism is, and they can’t stand the idea that a man who’s not white is president. That is real, that sense of racial superiority and rule is in the hearts of some people in this country. Not all conservatives, not even all right-wingers, but it always comes through with this birther crap and these other references and somehow trying to erase ObamaCare, erase his record in history, and a big part of it is bought into by people like John Boehner, who’s not a bad guy, but he knows the only way he can talk to the hard right is talk their language.

I really wonder sometimes if people like Chris Matthews actually believe this nonsense or does he just know his role and what is expected of him if he wants to have a show on MSNBC?

Glenn Beck Goes Off On Chris Matthews

28 Jan

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews is constantly complaining about the “lack of civility” from Republicans, while at the same time, he goes on the air each night and attacks Republicans, particularly Republican women like Sarah Palin and Michelle Bachman. This is common practice from liberals.  Attack Republicans using every nasty name in the book, while criticizing them if they dare return the favor or defend themselves.  It’s so nice to see people like Glenn Beck call them out.  Chris Matthews and his ilk are pathetic.

I’m truly stunned every day as I see some of the nastiest, meanest people on the left who make a living attacking Republicans, criticize people on the right for daring to do the same.

More Chris Matthews hypocrisy herehere, and here.

Hypocrisy on Parade

4 Apr

This clip in from MSNBC’s “Hardball” with Chris Matthews.  The hypocrisy was staggering.  Chris was very concerned over a comment made by Rush Limbaugh earlier in the day in which he stated “Never in my life have I seen a regime like this, governing against the will of the people, purposely,” referring to Obama.

For Chris Matthews to be concerned over this is amazing.  How many times was the Bush administration referred to as the “Bush Regime” by the liberal media?  Byron York has a great story in the Washington Examiner on this.  A search of the Nexis database for “Bush regime” yields 6,769 examples from January 20, 2001 to the present.  Not only was “Bush regime” mentioned in the NY Times 16 times and the Washington Post 24 times, it was also mentioned on his own network, MSNBC.

Most hypocritical of all is the fact that Chris Matthews himself called the Bush administration the “Bush regime” on June 14, 2002.  When introducing a panel discussion about a letter signed by many prominent leftists condemning the Bush administration’s conduct of the war on terror, Chris Matthews asked Al Sharpton, “Reverend Sharpton, what do you make of this letter and this panoply of the left condemning the Bush regime?”
