Did the Southern Poverty Law Center’s ‘Hate Map’ Inspire Shooter?

This story is particularly interesting to me.  I have seen liberal pundits and “journalists” try to link almost every shooting or bombing that has taken place over the past few years to Conservatives, Republicans or the Tea Party.  Without any evidence or proof, liberals have no problem taking to the airwaves and keyboards to falsely link tragic shootings to Conservatives.  They never wait for all of the evidence or facts to be known, and when the facts do come out and there is no link to Conservatives, they just move on.

Then along comes Floyd Lee Corkins, a liberal, pro-gay marriage “terrorist” who wanted to “kill as many as possible and smear the Chick-Fil-A sandwiches in victims’ faces, and kill the guard” at the office of the Family Research Council.  A recently released video shows him admitting that he was inspired by the “Hate Map” he found on the Southern Poverty Law Center’s (SPLC) website.  SPLC identified the Family Research Council as a “hate group” due to their views on traditional marriage.

I was interested to see what the reaction was going to be from the liberals in the media in the Corkins shooting.  Were they going to point out the obvious link between the SPLC and the shooting?  Were they going to demand that they SPLC apologize for inspiring a person to kill?  Here there was a clear-cut case of a liberal group (SPLC in this instance) inspiring a shooter to commit murder and liberals are silent.  No wall-to-wall coverage. No questions. No demands for answers. No calls for a national dialogue.

Just silence.

Says a lot.
