To John Lewis (D-GA), the “pursuit of happiness” justifies forcing Americans to purchase health insurance. Only to a Democrat would the line “We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” from the Declaration of Independence, justify giving the federal government the authority to force Americans to purchase health insurance.
