Why CNN Has No Credibility. “Crosshairs” vs “Take These Sons of Bitches Out”

7 Sep

This is exactly why CNN barely has an audience.  The first clip is from January 2011, shortly after the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords in Tucson, AZ, where John King issued an on-air apology when a guest on his show used the word “crosshairs” metaphorically when talking about the Chicago mayoral race.  This, of course, was back when liberals in the media and elected Democrats were trying to paint Conservatives and the Tea Party as extremists, who use violent rhetoric to work their followers into a frenzy, leading to violence.

I was actually embarrassed for John King when I saw this:

Let’s fast forward a waaay into the future (a whole 8 months) to see how CNN’s John King feels about the comments made by James Hoffa of the Teamsters Union at a Labor Day event, where he said of the Tea Party:

“Everybody here has a vote….If we go back and we keep the eye on the prize. Let’s take these sons of bitches out and give America back to America where we belong.”

What did John King think about that comment?  Let’s see: (in the interest of time, he does not bring it up ONCE.  Nothing.)

John King does ask Hoffa what he thought of Obama’s speech and allows Hoffa to continue to attack the Tea Party, calling them “unreasonable.”

I think it’s fair to say that we can officially ignore all Democrats and their accomplices in the media if they ever complain about statements made by a Republican or member of the Tea Party.  They have lost all credibility in this matter.
