Congressional Black Caucus Not a Fan of the Tea Party

31 Aug

The Congressional Black Caucus (CBC) is officially a joke.  They are desperate and pathetic.  People who stoop to this level are admitting that they have lost the debate.   Furthermore, what they are doing is dangerous and they know it.  And where is Mr. Civility?  Hmmm?  If Obama disagreed with what the CBC was saying or if he wanted them to tone it down, he would give another national speech condemning this kind of language and call for everyone to stop this nonsense.  But he hasn’t said a word, nor will he.  Obama knows as much as the CBC does that he’s in big trouble politically.  Support for him is dropping, big time.  So, Democrats, led by the CBC and quietly encouraged by Obama, plan to call millions of Americans, who want to put a stop to this out-of-control spending taking place in Washington D.C., racists from now until the elections next year.

Let me ask a question.  We hear all the time about the crazies in the Tea Party, but I ask you, which group sounds crazier?

A.  Tea Party – who wants to reduce out-of-control government spending, reduce our national debt and federal budget deficit and lower taxes.

B.  Congressional Black Caucus – who thinks the Tea Party wants to do all of these things simply because a black man is President.  The CBC also claims that Republican members of Congress see black people as “second class citizens” and would like to see them “hanging on a tree.”  They’ve even thrown in some Jim Crow comparisons for good measure.

So, let’s see here.  One group sees the trillions of dollars in national debt, an ever-growing entitlement system and a federal government that seems only interested in kicking the can down the road, and wants to put a stop to it.  The other group could care less about our debt, deficit spending, unsustainable entitlements, unemployment, struggling economy or the impact it will have on generations of our children.

Who are the crazy ones here?

It really is amazing if you think about it.  Every single thing is the opposite of what the CBC says.  The CBC says that the Tea Party is mean, intolerant, evil, vitriolic, racists, etc.  No group in our country is as mean, nasty, hateful and intolerant as liberals.  NONE.  They want children indoctrinated from grade school through college.  They attack anyone who holds an opposing view.  They lie about naturally occurring climate in an attempt to force us to drive the kind of cars they want us to drive, eat what they want us to eat and use the lightbulbs they approve of.  Yet, somehow think they have a leg to stand on to criticize the Tea Party.

Congressional Black Caucus, stay classy!

Great piece on this topic from Verum Serum, titled “How the Media Handled “You Lie” vs You Lynch.”

Best Quote Evah?

“The danger to America is not Barack Obama but a citizenry capable of entrusting an inexperienced man like him with the Presidency. It will be far easier to limit and undo the follies of an Obama presidency than to restore the necessary common sense and good judgment to a depraved electorate willing to have such a man for their president. The problem is much deeper and far more serious than Mr. Obama, who is a mere symptom of what ails America .. Blaming the prince of the fools should not blind anyone to the vast confederacy of fools that made him their prince. The Republic can survive a Barack Obama. It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president.”

Al Gore’s Dad Was a Racist? Who Knew?

29 Aug

Al Gore could possibly be the biggest hypocrite on the face of the Earth.  On August 26, 2011, during an interview, Al Gore compared the struggle to win over climate change skeptics to the fight against racism.  This guy has SOME nerve. In it he stated:

“When racist comments would come up in the course of conversations, “There came a time when people said, ‘Hey man, why do you talk that way? That’s wrong, I don’t go for that, so don’t talk that way around me. I just don’t believe that.'”

He also stated:

“my generation watched Bull Connor turning the hose on the civil rights demonstrators and we went ‘whoa, how gross and evil is that?'”  And my generation asked older people ‘explain to me again why it’s ok to discriminate against people because their skin color is different.'”

Hey Al!  Do you mean you watched Bull Connor, THE DEMOCRAT?  Is that the Bull Connor you watched turn hoses on civil rights demonstrators?

What’s that?  You heard a lot of racist comments when you were young, Al?  Were they from the mouth of your dad, Al Gore, Sr.?  After a quick Google search, I found out that Al Gore, Sr. voted against the Civil Rights Act of 1964 when he was a Democratic U.S. Senator from Tennessee.  Not only did he vote against it, he participated in a 74 day filibuster in an attempt to delay and weaken the legislation.

You’d think that if your dad was a racist within the Democrat Party, who voted against the Civil Rights Act of 1964, you might NOT want to bring up the topic of racism, civil rights or Bull Connor….evah!  Just sayin’.

When I was reading up on this, I came across a website run by a black man, named Bob Parks, called Black and Right. He has a piece titled The Democrat Race Lie, which includes a list of historical bullet points that dispute Democrat claims of civil rights support.  You have to read it to believe it.  With a history like the Democrat Party has on civil rights, it’s truly unbelievable that the black community supports them.

Just for fun.  What do you think the media would do to a person like Al Gore if he was a Republican?  It says a lot about the media.  Not only do they never mention any of this, Gore is like a hero to them.

Hurricane Irene = Global Warming?

29 Aug

Not to anyone’s surprise, the liberal media happily ran with the “Hurricane Irene = Global Warming” theme this week:

1.  From The Daily Beast,  “Irene’s got a middle name, and it’s Global Warming.”

2.  From Climate Central, “is this weather disaster caused by climate change?”

3.  From the NY Times, “are hurricanes getting worse because of human-induced climate change?”

And finally, on a different note, from the climate expert Al Gore, who this week compared the struggle against climate skeptics to the fight against racism during the civil rights movement.

When racist comments would come up in the course of conversations, “There came a time when people said, ‘Hey man, why do you talk that way? That’s wrong, I don’t go for that, so don’t talk that way around me. I just don’t believe that.'”

So, if you don’t believe in “man-made global warming,” you are no different than those in the sixties that were trying to hang on to segregation and racism.  Wow.  I’d say that we are only skeptical because of hacks like Al Gore and his liberal “scientists” who have been caught fabricating data to get the results that support the conclusions they are looking for.

Congrats to MSNBC. You’re Officially a Joke!

24 Aug

Al Sharpton officially named host of ‘Politics Nation‘ on MSNBC. Congratulations to MSNBC….you are officially a joke. You’ve given a prominent slot on your network to one of the biggest race-baiting, tax-evading, anti-semitic, morally bankrupt hacks in our nation’s history.  Let’s take a look at some of great things on Rev. Sharpton’s resume:

*Tawana Brawley – in 1987, Sharpton led the false rape charge made by Tawana Brawley, who claimed that she was assaulted and raped by six white men, including police officers.  It was later determined that she lied about her story. Shapton even falsely named Steven Pagones, an Assistant District Attorney in Dutchess County, as one of the rapists, and a racist, among other accusations.  Sharpton was successfully sued for slander, but refused to pay his fine.

*Crown Heights Riots – During the riot blacks looted stores, beat Jews in the street, and clashed with groups of Jews, hurling rocks and bottles at one another after Yankel Rosenbaum, a visiting student from Australia, was stabbed and killed by a member of a mob shouting “Kill the Jew.” Sharpton marched through Crown Heights, shortly after the riot, with about 400 protesters (who chanted “Whose streets? Our streets!” and “No justice, no peace!”). Sharpton went on to say “If the Jews want to get it on, tell them to pin their yarmulkes back and come over to my house” and referred to Jews as “diamond merchants.”

*Freddy’s Fashion Mart murders – in addition to referring a Jewish store owner as a “white interloper,” Sharpton incited violence until one of his protesters stormed Freddy’s Fashion Mart with a pistol, burned the place down, killing 8 people.

*Kean College – in 1994, Sharpton stated to an audience “White folks was [sic] in caves while we was building empires…. We taught philosophy and astrology and mathematics before Socrates and them Greek homos ever got around to it.”

*Duke Lacrosse – Sharpton once again stood by a black female who falsely claimed that 3 white Duke Lacrosse players raped her (noticing a pattern yet?).  This hoax led to the disbarment of the lead prosecutor, Mike Nifong.  This also led to the firing of the Duke Lacrosse coach and the cancellation of the 2006 season.  All three of the accused were cleared of all charges and filed lawsuits against  Duke and the city of Durham.

So, great job, MSNBC!  From a network filled with hosts who routinely rail against homophobia, anti-semitism, racism and tax-evading rich people, you’ve managed to hire a guy who’s guilty of all of them.  Oh, and by the way, good luck getting rid of Sharpton when his ratings are terrible week after week, month after month. Does MSNBC honestly think he will go quietly?  Or do you think MSNBC may get the patented “shake-down” he is so famous for?  I can hear the bull horn and see the picket lines outside of MSNBC headquarters right now.

“Big Black Cloud” (of Debt) = Racist Remark

16 Aug

MSNBC is as shameless as they come.

“Ed Schultz used a deceptive edit to misinform his audience about the content of Gov. Rick Perry’s speech in Iowa yesterday. Schultz claimed that Gov. Perry was calling President Obama a “black cloud hanging over America” when in fact, the governor was talking about the national debt.”

Cornel West: Poverty In America Could Lead To Violent Class Warfare…

16 Aug

“If you don’t treat poor and working people with dignity now, chickens are going to come home to roost later,” West said. “And it won’t be about love and justice. It will be about revenge, hatred, and then we all go under.”

What would the reaction be if a Conservative from the Tea Party made this statement?

Will it be a surprise to anyone if riots between the “rich” and the “poor” were to break out in our country at some point?  The entire Democrat party has done nothing but make poor people think that rich people are solely to blame for their plight for the past 30-40 years.  “If only the rich would pay their fair share,” they say.  Most of us know that it doesn’t matter how much the “rich” pay in taxes.  No amount of taxation on some is going to motivate others to change their lifestyles. To think otherwise is foolish.

Government Shutdown = “Functional Equivalent of Bombing Innocent Civilians”

8 Apr

Dem Reps compete for title of Most Hyperbolic Demagogue of 2011.  Let’s see what we’ve got here.  We have a government shutdown being compared to the “bombing of innocent civilians,” Republicans are accused of coming to Washington to “kill women,” and Republicans are compared to Nazis.

I’m so glad that Democrats learned a valuable lesson from the AZ shooting in January of Gabby Giffords, which was the need for more “civility” in our politics. It’s nice to see that they are no longer participating in the poisoning of our political discourse.

No one should ever listen to Democrats in the future when they complain about the lack of civility on the part of Republicans.  They have zero credibility.  They think it’s perfectly acceptable to attack Republicans on a daily basis, while complaining if Republicans do the same.

Who’s Up for Some “Virginity Testing”?

25 Mar

Looks like the revolution in Egypt might not be working out too good.

According to Amnesty International (emphasis mine):

Amnesty International has today called on the Egyptian authorities to investigate serious allegations of torture, including forced ‘virginity tests’, inflicted by the army on women protesters arrested in Tahrir Square earlier this month. After army officers violently cleared the square of protesters on 9 March, at least 18 women were held in military detention. Amnesty International has been told by women protesters that they were beaten, given electric shocks, subjected to strip searches while being photographed by male soldiers, then forced to submit to ‘virginity checks’ and threatened with prostitution charges.

In a related story, and not surprising to anyone except maybe the NY Times, it appears that the Muslim Brotherhood is joining forces with the Egyptian military.

In post-revolutionary Egypt, where hope and confusion collide in the daily struggle to build a new nation, religion has emerged as a powerful political force, following an uprising that was based on secular ideals. The Muslim Brotherhood, an Islamist group once banned by the state, is at the forefront, transformed into a tacit partner with the military government that many fear will thwart fundamental changes.

It is also clear that the young, educated secular activists who initially propelled the nonideological revolution are no longer the driving political force — at least not at the moment.

Wow!  So, the “young, educated secular activists” are out and the hard-line fundamentalist Muslims are in.  What a shocker!
