Obama’s objective: polarize our country along class lines

12 Oct

Apparently, it has been Obama’s objective all along.  To divide and polarize our country along class lines.  He’s doing a good job.

Stanley Kurtz is a senior fellow at the Ethics and Public Policy Center in D.C.  He is also a writer for National Review author of Radical-in-Chief:  Barack Obama and the Untold Story of American Socialism.  Last year, he was interviewed by Rush Limbaugh for an edition of the Limbaugh Letter and the topic was Obama and his intentional plans to polarize the country between Democrats and Republicans along class lines.  His predictions for what Obama had in mind are eerily similar to what is happening today.  The entire interview can be found here: RushLimbaughInterviewsStanleyKurtz.

From Kurtz:  (Emphasis mine)

The idea was to polarize the country between the Democrats and Republicans along class lines.  How do you do that?  First you attack business interests and literally drive them out of the Democratic Party and into the Republican Party.  Now that might sound crazy.  Why would you want to drive anyone out of your party?  But by attacking business interests – and of course we’ve seen what Obama did with the Chamber of Commerce, his attacks on fat cats, his attacks on the Supreme Court during the State of the Union address over the campaign finance issue – the theory is, you jump-start this populist anti-business movement of the left.  And those people pour into the Democratic Party.  The idea of Obama’s socialist mentors was that if you can polarize the parties almost completely along class lines, the Party of the have-nots, in this case the Democrats, will gradually drift further and further towards socialism.  So that’s why you see Obama talking about enemies, because that also activates another key part of the coalition:  the theory is that you bring in activated minority groups and ally them with the anti-business populists.  All of his attack techniques are efforts to jump-start this populist movement of the left.”

Sounds like Mr. Kurtz pretty much nailed it a year ago.  This is exactly what is going on now, from the Occupy Wall St. protests, to the attacks on banks, CEOs, corporations and the private sector.  It’s been Obama’s plan all along.

Stanley Kurtz has had Obama pegged since before he got elected.  He did an interview for the Limbaugh Letter back in 2008, with Obama and his ties to radicalism and socialism the topic.  He also talks extensively about Obama’s close relationship with radical socialist Bill Ayers.  In it he stated:

“You see, people like Bill Ayers see the troubles of the inner city as a great opportunity to stoke this revolution.  What do these community organizers do?  This goes back to Saul Alinsky.  They agitate.  They try to get people angry at their condition.  So what Ayers and his compatriots believe is that, rather than trying to make people in the inner city a part of the general American success story, you use the dissatisfactions and troubles of the inner city as the spark point of the revolution that they still want to see.”

Not only is Obama comfortable with the polarization and unrest that is going on in our country, he prefers it.

No one is trying to make this country a socialist country and especially Obama.
If we can put all prejudices aside, resentments for the president.,please consider the brain the good Lord provided you with.
    1. If Republican Representatives pledge their allegenice to big money firms or Grover Norquist who advocates no taxing of the rich and not to their constituency numbering in the thousand and millions, something is wrong.
    2. We are in two wars, doesn’t matter who started them, but it does matter that democracy is in Iraq now, Saddam is gone and Bid Laden is dead . It is not America’s job to bring stabilization to these countries. What exist there is the same problem we have here between the Whites, Black and Hispanics. We can not wipe away the hate here so stop throwing our tax dollars on them and end the war now!
3 As we bring in more illegals that we can not take care of, put more black males in jail and deny other Americans who don’t fall in the two former groups, more and more people become dependent on a government which allows big industry to outsource jobs overseas.
    4. As more people become job less, homeles and poor, the nation has a problem. Who will help these people before they become a roit ?. The govenrment allowed the war, the government allowed illegal tresspass, the government allowed the outsourcing of jobs, the government allowed loop hole in the tax structure, the government allowed the banks and mortage lencer scam the people in to thinking they could afford a home, just as brokers scam their clients. Our nation is no different than Mexico, where the rich refuse to pay taxes to sustain their people, who are poor and have no jobs, There infrastructure is shabby, the police are defenseless againt the drug cartel Choas is there and if this nation continues to take from the middle class and let the rich pay no taxes, we will find our selves like the people in Mexico, Egypt, Syria, Iraq Lybia and other Middle east countries.
    5. Just how much of a free ride do the rich have to have. Some pay less taxes or no taxes than the average American. The banks won’t lend money, fact is they are making more fees for people to pay.
The student loan thing is a scam that places more Americans in an eternity of debt, just like the housing mess. Illegals can come here illegally and wall street can steal our money through wild ventures and neither go to jail. Let an America default on a student loan, let an American break a small insignificant law. They end up in jail or haunted for the rest of their lives ith garnishment, bad credit , become poor prospects for jobs. Americans have been asked yet agin to sacrifice whlile they pay for wars, other people’s democracy while ours disappears, other peoples’ infrastructure while ours decays, protect othr peoples borders while ours go unattended
    8. The more we pay, the less we have,
    9. Obama is not the best but the Republicans are a DEATH SENTENCE to AMERICANS

You are certainly entitled to your opinion and you are welcome to share it here anytime.

We agree on a couple of things. Not so much on a few others.

I agree that we need to stop spending billions of dollars in wars all over the world. We’ve got our own problems here that need to be addressed before we go trying to fix the problems of others.

Illegal immigration is a huge problem and has been for decades. Members of both parties have turned their heads as millions have poured in. It caused a lot of stress on our schools, hospitals and welfare programs. Money that should be used for American citizens is going to people who broke the law.

I also agree that we incarcerate far too many people for small crimes. I don’t know the stats, but I know that far too many people are in jail for small-time marijuana charges, for example, which is ridiculous, in my opinion.

Members of the government are just as much to blame for the housing collapse and the economic crisis as anybody on Wall St. is. Politicians of both parties have been in bed with Wall St. for decades. Banks were pressured by politicians to ease lending standards, which led to the sub-prime mess. A lot of advocacy groups (like ACORN) also were applying tremendous pressure to politicians and banks to make these risky loans.

If you have not already seen this video, this is what I’m talking about:

You said “if this nation continues to take from the middle class and let the rich pay no taxes, we will find our selves like the people in Mexico, Egypt, Syria, Iraq Lybia and other Middle east countries.”

You do realize that is not true, right? The “rich” pay most of the taxes. Everybody knows that. Many Democrats are arguing that they should pay more, but to say that they “pay no taxes” is very much NOT true. The top 1% pay 38% of the Federal Income taxes. The top 10% pay 70% of Fed. Inc. taxes (both stats from The Tax Foundation). 46% of American households pay NO Fed. Inc. tax (from the Tax Policy Center). None. You can argue that the rich should pay more and that the poor should pay less, but you can’t say that the “rich” don’t pay taxes. Simply not true.

Also, your argument that “Some pay less taxes or no taxes than the average American” is probably based on the argument Dems have been making lately based on what Warren Buffett said about the tax rate he pays versus his secretary. Warren Buffett pays a lower rate b/c he makes his money off of investments (capital gains and dividends), which are taxed at a lower rate than someone’s salary. Buffett only pays himself a salary of $100,000. If tax rates on capital gains are raised, it will discourage investment & decrease money to the Treasury. This has been proven time after time.

The problem is that liberals can’t stand seeing people get rich off of investing. The seem to think that if people are getting rich by taking risks with their own money in the stock market, while some in our country are struggling, it is somehow not “fair.” The two have nothing to do with each other. For example, Obama was asked in the Democrat primary about this exact thing:

The liberal moderator made the case that each of the last times the capital gains rate was lowered (once under Clinton, once under Bush), revenues to the Treasury increased…the gov’t took in MORE money (which is supposedly what Obama and Dems claim to want). He then stated that each time capital gains tax rates were increased, that revenues went DOWN. So why raises them at all, he asked? Obama: “for purposes of fairness”

It doesn’t matter that 50 people make a billion dollars a year, while some are struggling. If lowering capital gains tax rates bring in more $$ to the government, as opposed to less, isn’t that what we should be doing? That means more $$ for infrastructure, roads, bridges, schools, etc..

I don’t see how Republicans are a “death sentence to Americans.” That is quite a statement. Especially after seeing the colossal failure of electing someone as inexperienced as Obama as President. No one should be surprised that he doesn’t know what he’s doing. What had he ever done to prove that he was up for the toughest job in the world?

Excellent presentation. I learned alot about what was hidden from plain sight.

  4. cdawkins November 29, 2011 at 2:54 pm #

Thanks, Grecon. There is a whole lot more than what is covered in the “mainstream” media. From taxes to revenues. The subprime lending that led to the housing collapse, which triggered the economic collapse. “SuperCommittee” failure, etc.

You can always tell who must be involved and to blame by how much media coverage a story gets. If there were Republicans that could be blamed for the subprime lending, it would have gotten much more coverage. If Republicans were tied to Solyndra or other “green” boondoggles, they’d get much more attention.

    You get my drift….
