Why is it ok for white liberals to denigrate black people?

11 Oct

Of course, the more accurate title would be “Why is it ok for white liberals to denigrate black Conservatives?”

If you have seen the interview between the admitted socialist MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell and Herman Cain, you are probably asking yourself the same question.  Why do white liberals get to insult Conservative blacks?  Why do they get to question their commitment to the civil rights movement?  Why do they get away with insinuating that they are not really black?

This is just another glaring example of how liberals are the most intolerant people in our country.  They’d love for us all to believe that they are the ones that are color blind.  But every chance they get, they prove otherwise.  How is it that a white liberal gets to question Herman Cain’s blackness because he did not participate in the marches during the civil rights movement?

I’d like to see Lawrence O’Donnell’s reaction if a white Conservative tried to smear a liberal black running for president.

Conservative Black Chick was not impressed either:

“But it also demonstrates how completely panicked, flustered and shocked Democrats are by Cain’s candidacy because they know Cain has the REAL ability to chip away at the 96% black vote Obama enjoyed in 2008. Black support for the first black president has plummeted from 83% to 58% and even if Cain doesn’t win the GOP presidential nomination in 2012, he’s making black liberals reconsider their support of the Democrat party that dismisses them, makes promises of government salvation it doesn’t deliver on and takes their vote for granted every election cycle.

No other race but the black race gives the majority of their votes to one political party. Even if Herman Cain’s candidacy is able to compel a mere 13% of black liberals to vote for the GOP nominee in 2012 this would hurt Obama. Terrified by the reality Cain’s message is resonating with black liberals, O’Donnell tried to interrogate Cain on his involvement in the Civil Rights Movement, implying that because Cain was in college at the time he“sat on the sidelines” and was a sell out.

It’s absurd to suggest if a black person in the 60’s didn’t march in Civil Rights protests they were not supportive of the movement. Cain delivered the right response: “Did you expect every black student at every black college in America to be out there in the middle of every fight? The answer is no. So for you to say why was I sitting on the sidelines, I think that was an inaccurate deduction that you are trying to make. You didn’t know Lawrence what I was doing with the rest of my life.”

Why would anybody want to smear anybody. If you are a Christain, then you should have tolerance for all races of people. People should be able to voice their opinion about another without others becoming frustrated by their comments. Herman Cain is like any person or a child that wants to play in a circle of people. First one must decipher what it is that will allow others to accept him. If he plays in the conservative circle he must behave and say what will please the conservative people, . He must do what it takes to survive in the circle he has chosen to associate with, just as the Republicans do, when their main focus is to make Obama a one term president. They can not have individual perferences, or else they will be abandoned and kicked out of the circle. They are true to their base, THE RICH PEOPLE WHO MAKE THEM MILLIONAIRE. They have no loyality to the people who voted them in. If you enjoy their governing,( Republicans) I don’t have the right to desaude you. If you don’t mind them polluting the air and water, you don’t mind them tending to other countries needs while Americans pay for it. If you don’t mind your infrastructure crumbling and your borders not being protected, then you have that right. Just know what Martin Luther King said,” An injustice to one of us is a treat of injustice to the rest of us. First, it was the Blacks, now there are 99% out in the streets today. So his words have come to past. Good luck with your thinking.

I’d like to say “good luck with your thinking” as well, but it appears as though your “thinking” days are behind you.

I DO have tolerance for all races of people. It’s liberals that have these litmus tests to determine who is authentically black and who is not. To liberals, it is a sin to be black and Conservative. How is that any of their business? Who are they to decide how an individual should think? They immediately attack and dismiss ANY black person who happens to be Conservative. It’s shameful. Black people should be allowed to believe whatever they wish, just as other races are.

I have a few questions for you. Did you and other liberals want George W. Bush to be a one-term President? Were you upset when he was elected for a 2nd term. I know that millions of liberals were very upset and wanted desperately for Bush to be a one-term President. So, your repeated focus on Republicans wanting Obama to be a one-term President don’t carry any weight at all.

As far as Republicans, including Cain, being true to their base…what is new about that? As though Obama and Democrats don’t have to be true to their base? What do you think Obama is doing with all of his calls for raising taxes on the “rich” and attacking Wall St.? He’s playing to his base b/c he knows that is what they want to hear. Then, when the general election comes around, he will tone it down to play to moderates. Nothing new about any of this.

As far as “rich millionaires” go, Obama has received more in campaign donations from the financial sector than any other politician in the last two decades….$16 million. So, good luck with that argument. Obama is as in bed with Wall St. and rich people as any president in our history.

But, why would you let facts distort your partisan hackery, right?

Republicans pollute the air and water, huh? Then why are Democrat senators from coal and oil producing states complaining about EPA regulations? They know the harm the EPA does to their industry and jobs in their states in the name of “clean air.”

My main point of the post was the hypocrisy of liberals. Don’t tell us that you are color blind. Don’t tell us that you are the most tolerant. B/c you are not. I’m ok with liberals opposing Conservative ideas, just like I’m ok with Conservatives opposing liberal ideas. But, don’t tell me that liberals are the ones that stand up for women and minorities, b/c the second that they find out you are a Conservative woman or minority, they will attack you mercilessly. This is not debatable. There are too many examples to list.

    One more question:

When Obama holds fund raising dinners at $35,000 per plate, who is it seated at those tables? Is it the “99%” that are out in the streets today, or rich fat cat Wall St tycoons?

C’mon, man! You should be pissed at Obama, not Republicans. Obama is the one who lied to you and told you he was going to be something he was not.
