Joe Scarborough = Embarrassment.

18 Jan

Could Joe Scarborough be more pathetic?  Look, I know that he needs to keep his job at MSNBC, a network whose sole mission each and every day is to attack or discredit Republicans, and prop up and carry water for Democrats.  I get it.  But give me a break.  Today he wrote a piece in Politico titled “Moving past right-wing rhetoric.” In it he attacks Glenn Beck and Sarah Palin for the “spewing rage” and claims that they “incite hatred.”  With no evidence whatsoever, Scarborough and other liberals in the Democrat media have tried desperately to link the Arizona shooting to Republican rhetoric. Now that evidence has come out that the shooter was a lunatic and not some right-wing Beck-watcher, many in the media have retreated and dialed it back.  Not Joe.  Although his pals in the Democrat media are trying to save face and move on, knowing that the next tragedy may give them what they are hoping for….someone they can tie to Palin, Beck, the Conservative movement or the Tea Party, Joe continues to attack.

What is particularly amazing about this piece from Scarborough is the fact that he works for MSNBC.  The network of Ed Schultz, Keith Olbermann, Rachel Maddow, and Lawrence O’Donnell, just to name a few.  All are far-left bomb throwers who’ve made a career out of attacking Republicans on a daily basis.  The attacks on George Bush, Dick Cheney, Condoleeza Rice and Donald Rumsfeld from MSNBC hosts were vicious and now that they are gone, they’ve “switched their sights” to Palin, Beck, and Limbaugh, among others.  So, forgive all of us if your calls for more civility in political discourse fall on deaf ears.

Not to mention, one of the left’s main arguments has been the political map used by Palin to target districts in the mid-term elections of 2010, which contained cross hairs to target specific Democrats for defeat.  I guess no one told Joe that this is nothing new and that Democrats have used similar types of maps before.  Like this map the Democrats recently used, which contains red targets.  Each red target represents a “Targeted Republican.”  For Joe not to mention the similarities in the maps used by both parties, and his unwillingness to call out liberals for their lack of civility as often as he does Republicans, is embarrassing.

You liberals can have Joe Scarborough.  We don’t want him back.
