Obama doesn’t like it when you bring up pesky facts.

It saddens me to believe our politicians are the best thieves in the country – every initiative pushed these days seems to help some small group but hurt the nation as a whole. When your main priority is to get re-elected instead of making decisions on behalf of the best interest of the citizens you represent, you officially become part of the problem rather than the solution. I read the following & while I can’t guarantee all these figures are exact, the tragedy is when I’m no longer surprised that our government would do something like this. It doesn’t make me mad anymore, just disheartened.

    Oilfield Math:
Consider that a clunker that travels 12,000 miles a year at 15 mpg uses 800 gallons of gas a year. And, a vehicle that travels 12,000 miles a year at 25 mpg uses 480 gallons a year.
So, the average Cash for Clunkers transaction will reduce US gasoline consumption by 320 gallons per year. They claim 700,000 vehicles participated so that’s 224 million gallons saved per year. That equates to a bit over 5 million barrels of oil, which is about 5 hours worth of US consumption. More importantly, 5 million barrels of oil at $70 per barrel costs about $350 million dollars.

So, the government paid $3 billion of our tax dollars to save $350 million. We spent $8.57 for every $1.00 saved.

But not to worry, I’m pretty sure they’ll do an even better job with our health care.

    Cassius Clay,

“He Clay to me…I say Clay”

You are absolutely right. Liberal politicians are actively trying to turn this country into something it was never intended to be. This is not going to end well for them. They are trashing the Constitution on a daily basis and doing everything they can to take away as much of our freedom as possible.

They know that they have crossed the line. It’s over for them. November will be a disaster for them. I believe that Obama thinks his fate is sealed as well. I think he feels that he might as well go for it all at this point, because he is doomed anyway.

This health care bill is going to be the biggest debacle ever and it will be all their fault. Republicans will never be tied to it, which is the best thing they could have ever done.
